Day 1: John 1:1-5
Lord God Almighty, I praise You for You were, you are and You ever shall be God who was in the beginning.
I praise You for Jesus, the Word made flesh, who was with God in the beginning.
All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him is life, and the life is the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Thank You, dear Jesus, for Your life and light.
Lord, may Your life and light reign over my life and the lives of my dear ones: (list names). Remembering that You are the Light, help me to cast all fear and anxiety, including (your concern), over to You.

Day 3: John 1:9-13
Lord God Almighty, I praise You for being the True Light! I praise You because Your light is for everyone! Jesus, You came to your own knowing that not all would receive You. How bold, brave and courageous! You are worthy of praise!
And yet, for those who do receive and believe You, you give the right to become Your children. Honestly, that’s mind boggling! Who are we that you are mindful of us?
Lord, may I never forget the privilege of being Yours, of bearing Your Name. As Your child may I act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You in gentleness and kindness.
Lord God, I give You (loved one’s name). Please shine Your light overcoming her/his darkness. Give her/his eyes and ears and a heart to receive and believe you and become Your child forevermore. You, and You alone, are mighty to save.
