Day 1: John 10:1-10
Lord God, I praise You for being the Good Shepherd. Your sheep hear Your voice. You call Your sheep by name and lead us out that we might have life and have it abundantly. May we, ____, hear, listen and follow You and You alone.
Day 2: John 10:11-21
Lord Jesus, thank You again for being my Good Shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep. Such love! Such sacrifice! I cannot comprehend. Lord, I bow in worship to thank you and to draw near. No matter the storm, I am safe in your arms.
Day 3: John 10:22-30
Father God Almighty, none is greater! I praise Your mighty hand! You are the great God, the Great King above all gods. In Your hand are the depths of the earth and the mountain peaks belong to You. The sea is Yours for You made it and Your hands formed the dry land (Psalm 95.)
No one is able to snatch Your sheep out of These Hands. Thank You. I know ____ is safe.
Day 4: John 10:31-42
Jesus, thank You for Your good works. Without You, without Your work, I’d be in darkness. Many have come to You and believed. Please help ____ to do likewise.
Day 5: Review
Lord God, I praise You for being the Good Shepherd. We are safe in Your arms. From Your fullness, we have all received grace upon grace.
As David prayed:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen. (Psalm 23)
